Botanica Nursery and Gardens
Botanica (formerly Hidden Forest Nursery, Sonoma Horticultural Nursery and Azalea Farm) is a complete shade garden forest experience that combines a renowned plant nursery with 7.5 acres of Botanic Reserve gardens that act as a showcase for our plants and expertise. The Botanical Reserve‘s trails are overflowing with lush ferns, rhododendron blossoms, towering dawn redwoods, and more. Boasting the largest grove of Dawn Redwoods west of the Mississippi, visiting the Reserve is walking through a piece of history.
Our Plants
As a specialty rhododendron and azalea grower, these shade garden beauties and their companion plants are a significant part of the inventory at our plant nursery. We also specialize in Japanese maples, dogwoods, magnolias, perennials, edibles and more. Visit us in Sebastopol to see our full catalog on display in the nursery and botanic gardens.
